The plot is a mess more than often, and many things don't make sense at all. Actually the first season's storylines were masterful compared to this one's. I miss Annie's arc. And yet here I am.The show has some fine moments (mostly when things go very very dark and depressing) but also some terrible writing.
I guess I keep watching for the men, and for Kevin's relationships with his two
Tom Weston-Jones is not my type (he's way too chubby for my taste), but when he smiles there's definitely something, especially on Copper, probably because the character isn't prone to smiling and his smiles mostly happen when he's teasing enemies or playing cat and mouse with bad guys. Also when he smiles it brings out dimples and, above all, cheekbones that give some edge to a rather round face.
And I really like his nose!
And today while watching "Beautiful dreamer" I had an epiphany: someone should make a movie about emperor Hadrian and cast Tom Weston-Jones as Antinous. He would be perfect!
I mean, it's kind of obvious.
Yes my shallow posts do have references to the classics.
Now I can blame the Greeks and the Romans for my watching Copper!
